Installing Tekonsha Replacement OEM Tow Package Wiring # 118253 on 2013 Honda Ridgeline
Question:
Hi! I have a 2013 Honda Ridgeline Sport and I wanted to install the Tow Ready #118253. I read a previous question regarding the location of the relay block under the drivers left knee and the subfuse box on the firewall in the engine compartment. You mentioned a .pdf of Hondas instructions for installing the relays/fuses. Could you email this to me please? Also, is there a installation video like the one you did with the Honda Pilot? I want to install this myself, but dont want to purchase it if its too complicated. Lastly, do I need to also get both the mounting bracket #18159 AND #PKU12711U or do you only need one or the other for the Ridgeline? Thanks! Your website is an excellent source for trailers, hitches, winches, etc for someone totally new to this. Keep up the great work!!!

The Tekonsha Honda Replacement OEM Tow Package Wiring # 118253 referenced in your question is confirmed to fit your 2013 Honda Ridgeline and it will be a quick and easy installation. This will upgrade the 4-way flat on your Ridgeline to a 7-way connector. I have attached the installation details for you to check out and also included an image of the fuse instructions.
We do not yet have an installation video on your vehicle but the process should be similar to the Honda Pilot demonstration you mentioned in your question.
To mount the 7-way connector onto the trailer hitch on your Honda Ridgeline, you will only need the Draw-Tite Mounting Box # 18159. This will include the needed screws to mount the connector. I have also attached a short demonstration video on this product for you to check out.
