Does Rubber Grommet on Side Cameras of Rearview Camera Setup part # RVS-062710 Need to Stay

Question:

Hello, I am attempting to install part number RVS-770616 and have a question about mounting the side cameras flush to my 5th Wheel. Am I supposed to cut the rubber grommet off and just run the wires through the hole and seal the camera with some sort of caulking? Also, what size and type screws did you use to secure the camera to the side of the trailer. The video I watched that showed the screws was the install of part RVS-062710. Thank

You could cut off the grommet if you don't want it or you could leave it on the inside of the RV wall. I would use a sealant to keep water out too. The included nuts and bolts are what we used in our install.

The sealant part # 0160299 would work well.
