After everything is installed on the Titan BrakeRite I Plug and Play Electric-Hydraulic Actuator Kit # T4813102 referenced in your question, you will test the system prior to moving the vehicle by first depressing the towing vehicle brake pedal. When you do this, the BrakeRite unit should start (you will be able to hear the unit running). Release the brake pedal and activate the BrakeRite unit by operating the manual override on the in-cab controller. When doing this you will again hear the unit turn on. With the manual override you will be able tell by the change in tone that the system is building pressure relative to the amount of activation initiated on the override switch.

After the system responds to these tests, you will proceed with moving the vehicle to establish feel for the brake system. I recommend performing these initial tests in an empty parking lot.
