For ease of installation in your 2017 Ford F-250 4x4 with 6-3/4 foot bed, I recommend the Reese Quick-Install Custom Base Rails and Outboard Installation Kit for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # RP56017-53. This kit comes with the brackets customized for your truck and has the outboard rails that are 48 inches long versus the traditional 43 inches length. These rails are still compatible with all of the same industry standard hitches, but the longer rails make the installation much easier by giving you more room to work with.
These rails will work well with a sliding hitch which I highly recommend for your application to give you adequate turning.
