For your 330 pound Scooter, I recommend a trailer hitch mounted cargo carrier with a ramp like the Flint Hill Goods Carrier, # FHG77ZR. The interior dimensions of the deck on this carrier is 28 inches wide and 48 inches long so you will need to measure your scooter to make sure it will fit. I have included a link to a video review of this carrier. I have also included a link to all the hitch mount cargo carriers with ramps for you to view.
A couple of notes, you will need to have a Class III or higher trailer hitch with at least a 500-pound tongue weight capacity for a scooter weighing 330 pounds and the carrier weighing 80 pounds. You will need to factor in the weight of the carrier plus the weight of scooter when calculating tongue weight. For example, the above carrier weighs 80 pounds plus the 330 pound scooter. This equals 410 pounds of tongue weight.
If the factory hitch on your 2005 Ford Expedition is not rated high enough, I recommend towing a small trailer. You also get the added benefit of having a small trailer that can be used for many other applications.
