Recommended Wiring For US Car Connection And 7-Way Trailer Connector On 2017 Honda Ridgeline
Question:
Will the adapter work on my 2017 Honda Ridgeline Black Edition to connect a Reese 7065300 Lighted LED Hitch Step. the Reese has a 7-flat pin receiver. Will it be a problem to the round pin to the Reeses flat pin receiver.

If you have a 7-way on your 2017 Honda Ridgeline, the US Car connector in your picture will allow you to put it right in line with a factory 7-way...just plug and play. If you don't have a 7 way, I recommend the 7-Pole and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Sockets w/ Mounting Bracket and Wiring - Vehicle End # HM40975-11998 and hardwire it utilizing the # 5506 wiring kit. This will give you a 7-way US Car connection as well as a standard 7-way trailer connector as well as the 12V battery run with the brake controller wiring run for future use. This combination will allow you to use your Reese Lighted LED hitch step and have a 7-way blade at your bumper.
