Adapter for Trailer with 7-Way Round Connector and 2012 Honda Ridgeline with 7-Way Blade Connector

Question:

My Honda Ridgeline comes with a 7 way blade socket and my trailer has a standard 7 way pin. My doubt is that your adapter seems to have a 7 way pin round male flying end with pins only, and my boat connector has 4 pins and 3 holes in the 7 way round. The tailer end wich should be the end of the #47595 adapter should have 3 pins and 4 holes in the 7 way round socket. Are we talking about the same 7 way pin round system?

It sounds like the connector on the boat is an adapted 4-Way to use with a 7-Way round pin trailer connector on a vehicle. That would be why there are just 4 pins, 3 for the lighting functions and 1 for ground. If that is the case then the 7-Way blade to 7-Way round adapter, # 47595 should work just fine.

Most boat trailers have the basic lighting functions but do not have the components that require the other circuits such as 12 volt accessory power and electric brakes.
