Trailer Hitch Recommendation for 2017 Toyota RAV4 That Allow Hands Free Liftgate to Open

hi im looking to get a hitch for my 2017 toyota rav4 se .. my question is it possible to put on a hitch for the se model??? i was told by the dealer that i cant due to the fact that there is a senor on the bottom of the car for the life gate... thats the sensor where you put your foot under the car for the trunk to open automatically... i need a hitch that wont effect the senor... do you guys have a hitch that can resolve that problem ??

For your 2017 Toyota RAV4 SE the Curt Hitch # C13149 is a confirmed fit and would work well for you. What we have found is that if you kick to either side of the hitch opening the hands free liftgate will still function with the hitch installed.
