Should All Wheel Drive Vehicles have Tire Chains Installed on All 4 Wheels
Question:
This is for a 2015 Subaru Outback 3.6R. I saw on another post that you recommended this product: https://www.etrailer.com/p-PW1046.html But would I need to have two sets for all four wheels? Or is it okay to just place them on the fronts or rears? Thank you!

With tire chains you really want to run them on all 4 wheels to give you the most stable and predictable ride. Ideally you would run the chains on all 4 wheels but if you had to only run one set you would want to pick the main drive wheels of the vehicle. If you check the owners manual of your 2015 Subaru Outback it will tell you which axle (if only one is permitted) should be used.
