Recommendation on a Weight Distribution System That Will Increase Ground Clearacnce
Question:
wondering if there is a weight distributing hitch/sway control with bars going up rather than down? I currently have E2 hitch 94-00-0600 but ground clearance out of some driveways has been an issue. also towing prod 177 dry weight 2470, loaded we carry approx 3200#

I have a solution for you. Fastway manufactures an e2 Weight Distribution Hitch, # FA92-00-0600, that the trunnion spring bars run more in-line with the frame of the trailer and do not hang as low as the bars on # FA94-00-0600 system.
This model Fastway system will perform just like your current weight distribution system. The # FA92-00-0600 system has a tongue weight range between 250-600 lbs and will install to your trailer using no-drill, bolt on clamps.
The hitch does require a hitch ball with an 1-1/4 inch shank. I recommend the # EQ91-00-6080 2 inch ball.
Unfortunately, there are no weight distribution systems that use spring bars that mount in an upward position.
I have linked a review video of the Fastway # FA92-00-0600 system for your to review.
