Can Second Friction Sway Control be Used on Trailer Setup and Will It Help
Question:
can two sway controls be used?

Adding a second friction sway control device # 83660 can help. Typically what we recommend is if the trailer is longer than 26 feet then a second unit should be used.
You may need to use the weld-on friction sway control tab # C45822 or # 3442 if your weight distribution head doesn't already have the bracket and hole for a second one. It will get welded to the side of the head or ball mount. Welding should be performed by a qualified professional welder. Once welded on it will look like ball mount # D320 except the tab will be welded to the other side (since the plate you are using is occupying the passenger side of the ball mount). Alternatively you could simply use the weight distribution head like # 58333.
