Location of the Electric Trailer Brake Controller Connection Port on a 2004 Nissan Frontier
Question:
Trying to plug this part into my 04 Frontier crew cab 2wd. Cant seem to find where to plug it in to. Ive looked under the drivers dash, but have not found a plug. Where do this plug into? Thanks.

From what I was able to learn, the connection point for the Hopkins Plug-in Simple Brake Wiring Adapter - Nissan, # HM47635, can be found underneath and left of the steering column, taped to another harness near the emergency brake pedal. There should be a 6-pin connector that mates with the one on the adapter.
If you cannot find this port, and the truck did not come with a factory installed 7-Way trailer connector, you will probably need to install a 4-Way (if needed), # 33515, and then install a 4 and 7 Way Installation Kit, # ETBC7, in order to install the brake controller. I have included links on installing an ETBC7 that should help should the 2004 Nissan Frontier need to be hardwired.
