5th Wheel Hitch Compatibility with Universal Base Rail Installation in 2015 Ford F-250 Super Duty
Question:
i have a 2015 f250 xlt 6-3/4 bed. i have a used Reese 16k 5th wheel hitch. i purchased the universal rails and quick connect brackets. I purchased a 2017 Heartland Prowler P326. I have not picked it up yet. If I decide that i need a slider hitch will it fit the rails I have already purchased?

ISRs, or industry-standard rails, will accept any 5th wheel hitch, slider or fixed, from any major brand so long as it is intended for normal base rail installation. You can refer to the linked image of base rails that shows their three compatible mounting leg distances: 10-, 20-1/2- and 29-inches. Front-to-back spacing is standardized at 22-inches between rail centers.
For a wiring harness for the truck bed you can use # C56000.
