Suspension Enhancement Recommendation for 2000 Toyota Tundra that Bottoms Out

Question:

I have a 2000 Tundra 2 wheel drive long bed. I always hauling a heavy canopy and bed slider on it. It rides about 1inch above the bump stops all the time and bottoms out on them very easily. Would the TORTUN4 work well for me long term or would you suggest an air bag. Im guessing Im carrying around 1500 pounds all the time with additional 500 at times. What do you recommend?

I really like the Timbren setups like the part # TTORTUN4 that you referenced. This will replace your bump stops and provide you with 6,000 lbs more of suspension support. That means your truck isn't going to bottom out when you are loaded.

I like these kits over air bags as you don't ever have to mess with inflating bags or worrying about air leaks.
