Hi everyone. Adam with etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look at Buyers Products Adjustable Tank Holder. So this is going to be great for tanks like your fire extinguishers, you have a CO2 tank, oxygen tanks, or even a settling tanks for your cutting and welding. So this tank holder is going to be adjustable from six and a half inches in diameter to seven and a quarter inches in diameter. So as long as your tank is within those parameters, it's going to help you keep it nice and secure whenever you go down the road.
So this is going to be made of a pretty hefty material. It's going to be a zinc plated 12 gauge plate of steel, and it is going to come with a nice rubber insert here to help it so it's not going to slip down and fall whenever you're going down the road.A lot of the ones I've seen don't really have a nice rubber texture on the inside. So I think this is going to be your best bet to make sure that this tank doesn't go anywhere. So this is going to be able to resist against rust and corrosion. So if you don't have a place to mount it on the inside of your trailer, or work truck, you can do it on the outside you don't have to worry about it rusting away over time.
And to get your tank off, it is going to be tool free. We're going to be able to tighten and loosen this wing nut pretty easily here. It's a nice size, so it's not going to be too straining on your hands. So in emergency situations, we're going to need our fire extinguisher pretty quickly. It's not going to be too difficult, especially with this hinge, it makes it pretty easy even if you're by yourself. All we can do is loosen this up a little bit until we get it to where we can slide that out, and that hinge makes it really easy to take this off by yourself.
So our dimensions here is going to be three and a quarter from this end to this end, and we are going to have about two inches up and down right there. So from our mounting bracket here, all the way to the very edge, we are going to have 10 and a quarter inches. So when this thing's completely open, just so you guys can mount it to where you can completely open it. It is going to have.. We're going to have about 18 inches.
And when it's fully closed we are going to have about nine and a quarter inches. So whether you are hauling a fire extinguisher in your racing trailer, just to make sure your race car doesn't catch on fire, or if you're just welding and you need an extra holder for one of your tanks, this is definitely going to get that done for you and keep it nice and secure. So the hardware is not included with our tank holder here. So what I actually did instead of just screwing screws in there. First of all, it's going to be hard to get your screw down in that angle. I actually put it up against here, mark these holes, and then drill them, and then took a bolt and a knot. And I used the biggest ones I could get just because the thing is going to be holding a decent amount of weight depending on what you put on it. So once you get your tank installed, you're going to tighten it down with this wing nut here, and once it's and secure in a place you're ready to hit the road. Well, everyone, thanks for watching and tuning in and taking a look at the Buyers Product Adjustable Tank Holder..
