Does Hitch Ball Come Installed On Draw-Tite Ball Mount

Will you install a 2inch ball on this mount? Curt Ball Mounts - D-4. Or do need to install the ball myself?

The Ball Mount, part # D-4 does not come with the hitch ball installed.

The 2-inch hitch ball I recommend is the Tow Ready, part # 63845. You will also need the Hitch Pin and Clip, # PC3. When installing the hitch ball it needs a torque rating of 250-lbs and requires a 1-7/8 inch socket. If you do not have a torque wrench most local auto parts or mechanic shops have them and may be willing to lend it to you or even tighten the ball themselves.

If you have a bench vise you can put a cloth around the ball and use the vise to hold it so you can torque the nut to spec on ball #C40008. Like you said this ball doesn't have wrench flats so there isn't really a better way than…
