Question:

I am going to purchase a fifth wheel to tow with my 2015 Tundra, i would like to use the BandW turnover ball with a fifth wheel hitch, I am confused with the instructions for this it says can not hook up with the toyota, is there a hitch that will do this?

With a 6-1/2 foot bed on your 2015 Toyota Tundra, there are components under the bed that do not allow the B&W Companion hitch from fitting on the 6-1/2 foot bed truck. The good news is you still have a couple options I recommend for both a gooseneck and a 5th wheel hitch on your 2015 Toyota Tundra.

The option that is most similar to what you are looking at is to use the Curt Double Lock, Flip and Store Underbed Gooseneck Hitch w/ Installation Kit - 30,000 lbs, # C60751. You can then use the Curt X5 5th Wheel Base Rails Adapter for Curt Double Lock Gooseneck Trailer Hitches - 20,000 lbs, # C16210, to get rails you can use with a sliding 5th wheel hitch like the Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ R16 Roller - Slide Bar Jaw - 16,000 lbs, # 16516. Most manufacturers will fit the X5, so you have other options for sliding hitches. This will give you a clean bed and the clearance you want for your 5th wheel trailer with your short bed Tundra.

A second option is to install the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit for Toyota Tundra, # C16468-204. This will give you above the bed rails but will allow you to use a sliding 5th wheel hitch like Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ R16 Roller, # 16516. You could then use Curt Above-Bed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch for Fifth Wheel Rails - 3" Offset - 25,000 lbs, # 16055. This will give you the same turning clearance for your 5th wheel trailer, but you will have the above bed rails.
