Fifth Wheel Installation Kit On 2011 Ford F-250

Question:

Im looking at part #RP50073-58, I already have a set of bars with the universal brackets but would rather use the custom ones. My bars are 43inch wide and plan to install in a 2011 f250 with a gas motor. Will I need a diffrant set of bar or will my current ones work?

The RP50073-58 has been discontinued but is still verified as a fit for your 2011 F-250. Since hardware is designed for a one-time use only, you will want to replace the hardware if you are able to find new old stock somewhere. The base rails you have will work just fine.

If you decide to replace the entire installation kit I recommend part # RP50026-58. The difference in this kit and the kit you said you are looking at is a little difference in the brackets, but my contact at Reese said the brackets from the older kit will work.

This kit includes the custom brackets, rails and hardware. This kit is compatible with Curt, Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch, Reese, Pro-Series, Valley, and Husky hitches. It will not work with Reese Elite Series (Signature Series) or Valley UBS hitches.

Installing this kit reduces the installation time in half versus the universal installation kits.
