Brake Controller Recommendation and Install Harness for 2006 Toyota Sienna with 4-way
Question:
I am installing a 4 pin flat connector Reese 78004, already have it for my 2006 Toyota Sienna. I have a hitch but no pre-wiring. I also need a 7 pin connector car side and trailer brake and I assume a wiring harness for the brake and aux power. My trailer is a 2000 lb Coleman 1996 pop up with trailer brakes. What do I need? Thank you

What you will need to install a brake controller on your 2006 Toyota Sienna that has a 4-way installed on it is the part # ETBC7. This comes with everything needed to convert the 4-way to a 7-way and install the brake controller. I attached an install video for this product for you to check out as well that shows it being installed on a very similar 2005 Sienna.
For a brake controller I would recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup. This is a proportional brake controller that senses the amount of braking the tow vehicle is applying and applies a proportionate amount to the trailer brakes.
