Hitch Extender Availability for use with Weight Distribution
Question:
Hi, Im reading some conflicting information on the review here, so figured Id ask a specific question. Im driving a 2016 Toyota Tundra, pulling a Trailmanor 3023 hard side pop up camper. It weighs about 4000 pounds, and a tongue weight of 475. I use a weight distribution system. I need a few inches to clear the tailgate when lowered. Will this extender work for me?

The only hitch extenders you can use with a weight distribution system are the Reese Titan hitch extenders like the part # RP45292 that require a 2-1/2 inch hitch and the Torklift extenders like part # TLE1536 that require a dual hitch made by Torklift.
Most hitch extenders are more light duty and are not rated for weight distribution use.
