Can Lippert Shock Kit for Trailer be Installed on Inside of Frame Rail to Clear Slide Out
Question:
It appears as if this shock kit would work on my trailer, but what about interference with the slide out? Wouldnt the shock kit be installed on the outside of the frame and then be in the way of the slide out rod? Is there a way of installing the shock kit on the inside of the frame?

The Lippert Components Bolt-On Shock Mount Kit # LC281255 is normally installed on the outside of the frame rails but my technical contact there advised these gas shock could be installed on the inside of the rails provided there is no other obstruction such as a water tank in the way. Since this is a general-purpose kit it is up to the user/installer to determine the best option for any given application.
