Trailer Wiring for 2011 Mercedes Benz E350 4Matic Wagon

My 2011 E350 Wagon already has a Curt hitch on it, but no wiring for a trailer. Which wiring system/harness is recommended for my vehicle? is part #C59236 what i am looking for?

We have two different trailer wiring harness recommendations for a 2011 Mercedes-Benz E350 Wagon. One would be the Curt # C59236 you mentioned, the other would be the # 119250KIT from Tekonsha. Both harnesses would need to be wired directly into the taillight wiring of the vehicle, but while the Curt harness would require splicing into the existing wiring, the Tekonsha ZCI wiring harness # 119250KIT features sensors that would clamp over the wires without piercing them.

I like the fact that the # 119250KIT doesn't require any cutting or splicing into the existing wiring, but I'm not sure if that benefit is worth the extra cost.
