Replacement HADCO Seal ID 2.00 OD 2.87

Question:

I have an older model HADCO mobile home axle on a small utility trailer. I need to replace the grease seal on the back side of the hub. The existing grease seal is a black, rubberized seal with the number 310 9 stamped in it. The wheel bearing that is mated with the seal has a number 4T-LM501349 NTN Japan Ze. Finally the spindle diameter is about 2.00inch and the pocket the seal sits in on the hub has a diameter of about 2.87. Any suggestion on a replacement?

The measurements from your spindle and hub line up with the HADCO seal # 1105-100-035 that you were looking at. This will work as a replacement to your seal on your axle.

Sounds like you were looking for a rubber coated one like the one that was originally on your axle.

The problem with mobile home axles are that they are designed for one-time use in moving a mobile home, and is meant to be discarded after that. Using mobile home axles and wheels seems like a great idea at the time folks are constructing a home made trailer. They are cheap and readily available. The problem is that replacement parts are usually not available, once again, because the axles are not meant to be reused.

I have linked the seal to this page for your convenience.
