Trailer Hitch, Ball Mount, Hitch Ball, and Trailer Wiring for a 2008 Suzuki XL7
Question:
Hi, Im looking for a good looking class3 2 hitch for my 2008 xl7. I really don't want exposed cross bars. Are there any that are less visible? Thanks

The Curt Trailer Hitch # 13518 for the 2008 Suzuki XL7 will have visible cross tubing beneath the rear of the vehicle. Based on where the mounting locations are on the vehicle, the hitch had to be designed accordingly and that is why there is visible cross tubing. It doesn't look bad, it is tucked right under the bumper. I attached an installation video for you to see how it installs and to see the finished product.
If you plan on doing some towing the recommended ball mount is # C45010 with pin and clip # PC3 and you can use trailer hitch ball # 19260 (1-7/8 inch diameter), # 19247 (2 inch diameter), or # 63853 (2-5/16 inch diameter). For wiring, if your XL7 does not have a factory tow package, you will need Upgraded Circuit Protected Taillight Converter Hardwire Kit with 4 Pole End, # 119178KIT. I have included a link to installation of this wiring harness on a similar vehicle. If the XL7 does have a tow package, you will need Curt Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring, # C56012. I have included a link to the installation instructions and a video installation on a similar vehicle below.
