Vehicle Wiring Harness Recommendation for 2015 Toyota Sienna SE AWD
Question:
I am looking for a 4-Flat wiring harness for my 2015 Toyota Sienna AWD van. I already have the hitch, just need the wiring. What product do I need that is easy to install? Thanks

The trailer wiring harness I recommend for your 2015 Toyota Sienna SE AWD is the Tow Ready T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118498. This wiring harness installs in line with your vehicle's factory wiring behind the vehicle taillights. You will not need to cut or splice into the factory wiring to install this wiring harness, simply unplug the factory wiring from the taillight and plug the wiring harness in between.
The # 118498 also features a powered ModuLite converter to reduce the strain on your Sienna's wiring system. The powered ModuLite gets power for the trailer lights directly from the vehicle's battery, rather than pulling power from the Sienna's taillight circuits. You will want to run the power wire from the ModuLite box up to the engine compartment. The inline fuse included with the # 118498 will install between the battery and power wire.
I have attached the installation instructions and an installation video of this wiring harness on a 2013 Sienna for you. I have also attached a help article on running the power wire for the ModuLite.
If you need a ball mount and hitch ball in order to tow a trailer, a great option is our etrailer.com ball mount kit # 989900, because it offers a couple of popluar rise and drop height ball mounts, as well as 2 different size hitch balls. I have attached a help article on measuring the correct rise/drop needed to tow your trailer level.
