Recommended Anti-Sway for a 2007 Lexus RX350 and a Lance 1575 Trailer 3,500lb Loaded
Question:
I have a lance 1575 trainler 2655 dry, roughly 3,500 lbs loaded and 225 tongue dry. Pulling with Lexus RX350. Pulling with just hitch and ball last year. Hitch is a 2 inch or 2.5 inch rise. Seems to have some sway when I tow. What would you recommend. Thanks,

Sounds like your vehicle is only having the sway issue and not any squatting or trouble steering the main reasons we would typically recommend a weigh distribution hitch for. This is why I would recommend you try a Friction Sway Control Kit like # 83660 for your setup. You will have to disengage this sway bar before backing up the trailer.
To attach this to your vehicle you will need a ball mount adapter. The correct adapter for a 2 inch ball mount is # RP26003, if you happen to have an 1-1/4 inch ball mount the adapter you will need is the # RP26005.
I have linked the recommended parts as well as a video of how this will install to your trailer and vehicle for your convenience.
If you would rather get a weight distribution system, please let me know, but typically you would likely benefit from a weight distribution system if:
•Your trailer weight (GTW) is more than 50 percent of your vehicle's weight (GVWR)
•The rear of your tow vehicle sags when the trailer is hooked up
•You experience trailer sway
•Your tow vehicle's headlights point upward
•You find it difficult to steer or stop your rig
•You want to tow to the highest capacity allowed by your vehicle's trailer hitch
