Sway Control Recommendation for a 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500 New Body Style
Question:
Looking for a sway control setup for my Forest River Stealth 23foot toy hauler to mate with my 2007 new body Silverado 2500 HD. From what I see in the kits, I need to replace my ball and mount... but I have a 3inch drop now, its too low, but the kits look like they have almost no drop, I think I need to be at a 1inch .... help....

If you just want sway control and not weight distribution also then you can do that using a friction sway control bar such as # 83660. All you will need is bracket # RP26003 and a ball mount with the right rise or drop to tow the trailer level. I have linked a help article that explains how to measure for rise or drop.
Another option is to use ball mount # D320 which does have a 2 inch drop but it has a sway control tab welded on so the RP26003 bracket would not be needed. this ball mount is rated for 7,500 pounds gross trailer weight and 750 pounds tongue weight.
If you want weight distribution too then to choose a weight distribution system you will need to go by the total tongue weight of the set up. This is calculated by taking the tongue weight of the trailer, when loaded and ready to tow, and adding to that the weight of anything loaded behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle.
I have included some links on weight distribution for you as well.
