Brake Controller and Wiring Recommendation for a 2015 Ford Transit T250
Question:
Transit T-250 - 2015. We are purchasing the hitch. I also need a brake controller. The trailer is not heavy but has a 7 pole connector. So I need the proper connector and controller. Side question. We also have a T350 - 2016. Sways all over. Empty, loaded. Whatever. 250 does not do it. 350 is a little longer. Would the SuperSprings Vehicle Suspension - SSA42 help??

You will need to start with a 4-way (if you do not have one). For that you would want the # C56327.
From there you would need to convert the 4-way to a 7-way so that you can install the brake controller. For that you will want the Brake Controller Install Kit and 7-Way Adapter part # ETBC7. I attached installation instructions and an install video for this product as well.
For a brake controller I would recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup.
Is the trailer you are towing sitting level when being towed? Typically sway is caused by too light of tongue weight relative to total weight of the trailer (should be 10 to 15 percent) or that the trailer is not sitting totally level.
Other than that make sure the suspension on your 2016 isn't somehow damaged already which would cause excess movement that would translate into sway.
