Can a RV with Air Brakes Have an Electric Brake Controller Installed
Question:
In stead of tapping into my air brake line, could I get the prodigy p2 part#90885 and use for my trailer that I pull behind my motorhome? how hard would it be to hook up in my rv?

That's actually what we recommend the most for people towing trailers with electric brakes that have tow vehicles with air brakes. Installing a P2 part # 90885 will allow you to totally bypass having to interface with the air system and will work very well.
Hardwiring a brake controller isn't too difficult. It basically is just a matter of running a few wires. One to the positive post of the battery, one to the ground, one to the trailer connector, and then one to the stoplight circuit.
I attached a help article on how this is all done as well.
