Rear Suspension Helper Springs for a 1996 Ford F-350 Dually 2-Wheel Drive w/B&W Gooseneck Hitch
Question:
Hi there, I have the B and W turnover gooseneck hitch attached to my truck. I have been told that air bag suspension helpers will greatly help keep my truck from sagging. Question I have is that I have been told that air bags are not available for this year of a vehicle. Looking at your website, it shows that part number F2550, will work for my truck. Can air bags be used even thought I already have the B and W turnover gooseneck hitch installed? Thank you.

There are air bags that will fit your 1996 Ford F-350 2-wheel drive dually but # F2550 is not one of the options. The options that are available will not work with the B&W gooseneck hitch installed but I do have a solution for you that will work.
What you need are helper springs that only mount to the bottoms of the frame rails on the truck. None of the air bags attach that way but I recommend using Timbren helper springs # TFR350SDE instead.
The Timbren springs will prevent sag and offer additional support when towing or carrying heavy loads in the truck bed. They do work independently side to side and require no maintenance. This is the best solution available for your truck.
