5th Wheel Trailer Hitch and Install Kit for a 2002 Ford F-150 SuperCrew
Question:
I can find a fit for a 2004 and up f150 crew cab but not a 2003 at earlier. Why is there no 5th wheel mount for the 2001-2003?

Are you talking about a Crew Cab or a SuperCrew cab? If you are talking about the SuperCrew cab with the 5-1/2 foot bed then you can install Curt installation kit # C16437-204.
On the 5-1/2 foot beds you will need to use Demco HiJacker 5th wheel hitch # DM8550040 because it has 22-1/2 inches of travel for greater clearance when making tight turns. On the super short beds you will need as much clearance as you can get to avoid hitting the trailer against the truck cab.
