Trailer Tire Recommendation for Size 205/75-14 that Provide Better Ground Contact

Question:

Hello, Seeking advice on a good ST tire that resists hydroplaning/most stable on wet roads. Currently I have 205/75-14 load range C K550 Loadmasters. They have been good, just curious about the Karriers or others since its time to replace the K550s. Thanks!

The Kenda Karrier ST205/75R14 Load Range C # AM10234 is the tire I recommend for replacing the existing tires on your trailer. I recommend using a radial tire, like the # AM10234, in order to provide the best ground contact for your trailer tires.

While not specially designed to resist hydroplaning, a radial tire will help provide the best traction for you. The cords that construct the radial tires run at a 90 degree angle to the direction of travel, allowing more flex than a bias tire. This gives the radial tire better ground contact, traction, stability, and tread wear. I have attached a review video of this tire for you.

For the Karrier tire on a wheel, I recommend the Kenda Karrier ST205/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire with 14 Inch White Wheel, 5 on 4-1/2, Load Range C # AM32153. I have also attached a review video of this tire and wheel combo.

These Load Range C tires have a maximum load of 1,760 pounds at 50 psi. If you need a tire with a higher capacity, the Load Range D # AM10235 offers 2,040 pounds at 65 psi.
