5th Wheel Trailer King Pin Position on a 2016 Ram 2500 Short Bed with Reese Custom 5th Wheel Rails

The 2016 ram 2500 crew cab has a bed length of 64 The install video has a install dimension of 26 1/4inch to front of rail from back of truck.....this will center the kingpin about 3 1/2inch behind the axle.... Will this kit work for the reese pro series 15K slider?...

On a 2016 Ram 2500 short bed that does NOT have the factory 5th wheel prep package and using Reese custom installation kit # RP50054-58 the measurement from the rear edge of the tailgate to the back of the rear rail will be 26-1/4 inches. But this puts the center of the king pin slightly forward of the center of the rear axle.
Once installed the rails are compatible with your Pro Series 15K slider hitch.
