To choose a weight distribution system you will need to go by the total tongue weight of the set up. This is calculated by taking the tongue weight of the trailer, when loaded and ready to tow, and adding to that the weight of anything loaded behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle.

If the total tongue weight is 600 pounds then I recommend a system that is rated for 400 to 800 pounds so your tongue weight is right in the middle of that range. For weight distribution only, no sway control included, I recommend # RP66541. I have linked a video review of this system for you.

You can add sway control later if you want using # RP26002 for dual-cam that prevents sway from starting, or # 83660 that tries to stop sway after it has started. Part # 83660 would have to be disengaged when backing up or in inclement weather.

You will also need a compatible ball. For a 2 inch ball I recommend # A-90 and for a 2-5/16 inch ball I recommend # 19286. The included shank in the weight distribution system has a max rise of 7 inches and max drop of 1-1/4 inches. Other shanks are available separately if more rise or drop is needed.

I have included some links on weight distribution and determining tongue weight for you.
