I PRESENTLY HAVE A CAMPANION 5TH GOOSENECK SETUP FROM MY 2012 RAM 3500. I JUST BOUGHT A 2016 RAM 3500. WITH THE GOOSENECK PREP PACKAGE. WILL THE COUPLIER HEAD FIT THIS BASE. IT SHOULD, BEING THEY ARE BOTH CAMPANION HITCHES. If it does then all I have to buy is this base......

Yes, the head of your current Companion hitch will fit the Replacement Base for B&W Companion # BWRVB3600 which will then fit the hitch prep package you have installed in your 2016 Ram 3500.

You will have to go with a sliding hitch to allow the trailer to make tight turns. For a trailer 8 feet wide the only bed length that's going to allow 90 degree turns without a slider is a stationary hitch. That being said you have two options.…
