Installation of 4-Way and 7-Way Trailer Wiring Harness on a H3 Hummer
Question:
I have a black box located below the cargo area 2009 H3 Hummer with a wiring connector plugged into it that appears to be the wiring harness for the back lights. It has a PIN # 25967325. Will your system fit into this connector?

If your Hummer H3 has the factory tow package wiring, most do, the Replacement Multi-Tow 7-Way and 4-Way Trailer Connectors for Ford, GM Trucks with Factory 7 Way, item # 30955, will connect to a round connector found above the rear spare tire. This connector will supply 4-Way and a 7-Way trailer wiring at the rear of your Hummer.
If you do not have the factory tow package wiring on your vehicle, you will need to use the 4-Pole Hardwire Kit Including Circuit Tester, item # 18252, that you referred to and wire the connector by function. Use the included circuit tester to determine the correct wires to splice in to.
If you need a 7-Way connector at the rear of the Hummer you can then install a Brake Controller 7 & 4 Way Installation Kit, item # ETBC7. I have included instructions for wiring this connector for you to review.
