The Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Brake Assemblies, like # 23-469, do not include plugs in the backing plates.

To seal the adjuster holes, you will want to use the Adjuster Plugs for Brake Assemblies # BP10-220. These plugs are designed to fit Dexter and Demco 7 inch, 10 inch, and 12 inch electric and hydraulic brake assemblies.

The Dexter hub you have is actually an 8-247 hub like the part #8-247-50UC3-EZ which would be the correct hub drum. Then for brake assemblies you'd want the part #23-468-469.
