Replacement Hardware for Curt Trailer Hitch for 2016 Honda Accord
Question:
I purchased a hitch from you for my 2013 honda accord. This week i traded it in on a 2016 honda accord. They service department took off the hitch, but they were not able to recover the two bolts and blocks that allow me to attach it to the frame. Are these available to purchase? I saw the kit on your website, but i only need the bolts and blocks. Thanks

In order to replace the bolts and spacers to install the hitch on your 2016 Honda Accord, you will want the Replacement Hardware Kit # RHK. The bolts and spacers for the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11681 are not sold separately.
When installing a trailer hitch on a new vehicle, it is always a good idea to replace all of the installation hardware. When the hardware is torqued, the force compresses the threads on the bolts and nuts. Once they have been torqued down, you will not want to use that hardware to install the hitch on a different vehicle. If all the hardware is not replaced when installing the hitch on a new vehicle it can lead to warranty issues with the trailer hitch.
