5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for a 2016 Ram 2500 Long Bed with Factory Prep Package
Question:
I have a new Ram 2500 2016 with the factory prep package. Looking for a 5th wheel hitch that fits the factory system. Is an adapter required? It is the 8 foot bed. thanks

We do have hitches that will fit directly into the factory prep package in your 2016 Ram 2500 long bed. I recommend the Curt Q24, # C16545-16021. The base of this hitch fits directly into the 4 pucks in the truck bed so no adapter is needed.
This hitch is rated for 24,000 pounds gross trailer weight and 6,000 pounds pin weight. It has a secure double-jaw design for solid jaw-to-king-pin contact. And the head is cushioned for a smoother ride. I have linked a video review of this hitch for you.
