24 Inch Hitch Extender for Flat Towing Jeep Wrangler Behind Ford F350 w/ Truck Bed Camper
Question:
I need a receiver extension, about 24, for flat towing a jeep wrangler behind a truck camper on a Ford F350. I was looking for a 2.5inch extension tube, that would adapt to a 2inch blue ox aventa tow bar. I am thinking I do not need heavy duty hitch systems like torklift superhitch since flat towing does not create tongue weight. Is this true?

It sounds like your Ford F350 has a 2-1/2 inch receiver. If that's the case, I'd recommend the Reese Titan Hitch Box Extension, part # RP45292. The extension will extend the receiver opening 34 inches rearward, but it's designed so that it can be cut down to 24 inches. The 2 inch receiver on the rearward end of the extension would work well with your Aventa tow bar. If the receiver height of the F350 isn't within +/- 3 inches of the base plate tab height of the Wrangler, you'll need to use a high/low adapter. I'll link you to our selection of high/low adapters.
