The Tekonsha Prodigy P2 # 90885 and P3 # 90195 trailer brake controllers both are compatible with electric trailer brakes as well as electric-over-hydraulic trailer brakes. You can use these excellent controllers with either brake type by selecting the appropriate operation mode at set-up.
If your F-250 has a factory 7-way trailer socket you'll use wiring adapter # 3035-P to plug in the Prodigy to the under-dash port. If it does not have a factory 7-way then instead you'll use our # ETBC7 brake controller install kit; if you do not have a 4-pole harness in place you'll also need to add one. You can use part # 118316 for a 4-pole harness; this plugs in to the OEM connector located at the left side of the rear bumper.
Instructions for both controllers are linked along with an installation guide and video for the ETBC7.
