Is There a Class III Hitch Available for a 2001 Chrysler Sebring
Question:
Is there a Class III for a Chrysler Sebring available? We need to carry a motorized wheelchair on a chair carrier. They only show Class I or II as available. I prefer not to use a receiver converter because of the stress it would put on the receiver extending out farther and Im not sure it would handle it. Thanks,

Class III hitches are reserved for larger vehicles like trucks and SUVs. For your 2001 Chrysler Sebring there are only Class I and II hitches available like the part # C12186 for if you have a Sedan, part # C11190 for if you have a convertible or part # C11187 if you have a coupe.
Using a hitch adapter like what you described actually cuts the capacity of the hitch in half so I would not recommend that either.
If the Sebring is your only tow vehicle option you would need to use a small trailer.
