Disc Brake Kit Recommendation for Lippert 7k Axles  

Question:

I am converting my RV electric brakes to electric-hydraulic disk brakes and would like to buy a 2 axle KIT with electric-hydraulic controller including a brake line kit.. Axle rating 7000# Lippert axel NV# 183816 Studs 8 9/16 wheel bolts Bolt circle 6 1/2 Need to replace 12inch drum will 13inch work??? Axle has 5 hole brake flanges id bearing size is 1 1/4 I would appreciate correspondence as I would like to purchase these items.

The disc brake kit # K2HR712D that you referenced should work well for you. You would need a quantity of 2 of these for each of your axles. These have the same bolt pattern as your current setup and are rated a 7k. You can verify that these will fit your spindle by removing a current hub and checking the numbers on the bearings. If they are 25580 for the inner and 14125A for the outer this kit would fit the spindle and work well.

This kit will fit a spindle that has a diameter of 1.25 for the inner bearing (like what you said you have), and 1.74 for the outer bearing. You can measure to confirm that as well.

For new lug nuts you would need the part # CE11051.

For a brake line kit you would need the part # DM5425, and then for an actuator the HydraStar part # HBA16 would be the best option.
