Question:

Hello. I have a 2000 Ford F-250 with a Lance 106inch squire. The camper weighs around 3000# with the options dry. Fully loaded it is going to be 3500+. What would you recommend for a tie down system for this setup. It will be occasionally be going off road for camping. Thank you for your time.

The truck camper tie-downs offered for your 2000 Ford F-250 can be seen on the linked page. All options are from TorkLift and the correct one for you depends on your bed length and the presence of other equipment such as steps or a hitch.

At the top of the page there is a drop-down menu bar you can use to select your truck version. For example, if you have a 8-foot bed, no board or step under the bed and are using an aftermarket hitch receiver, then the correct camper tie down kit consists of parts # TLF2011 and # TLR3500. In order to work with your hitch, the hitch side pates must be at least 4 x 4-inches. This kit requires drilling for installation. A video is linked for reference.
