Hitch Compatibility with Existing Sliding Bike/Cargo Rack on 2007 Keystone 290RKS 5th Wheel

Question:

I have a 2007 keystone 290RKS 5th wheel with a factory slideout rear bumper/bike rack/cargo option rated for 200 lbs. My compatibility question is this...will your hitch mount to this frame without interfering with the factory slide out. Obviously it will be retracted to tow and use the receiver hitch. I await your reply...thanks

The Curt # 13703 would mount so that it hangs below the frame members at the rear of the fifth wheel. If you look at the photo and diagram I've provided, you can see how the hitch attaches to the underside of the frame members. The top of the hitch crossbar will sit 3 inches below the underside of he frame members. You'll need to examine your frame members at the rear of the fifth wheel and compare what you see with the photo I've provided to see if anything will interfere. If the slides for the platform run along the inside or outside of the frame, the hitch attachment hardware might indeed interfere.
