Location of Brake Controller Connector on 2007 Nissan Xterra
Question:
Can I connect my brake controller tekonsha prodigy using 3050p harness to my 07 xterra without tow package. I have everything installed relay etc. But couldnt find the plug in for the hrness underneath the dash, do I need to hardwire.

The brake controller installation connector will be located under the dash to the right of the steering column, just above where you right knee would be. The connector will be at the end of a wiring harness with a white tag wrapped around it.
If the plug is present, and you don't already have the 7-way trailer connector, you could install one using part # 118266. Or since you've already installed the relays, # 118267 provides the connector only.
If the plug under the dash isn't present, you'll need to hardwire the controller using our # ETBC7 brake controller installation kit. The kit relies on there being an operable 4-pole trailer connector like # C56225 (or # C55441 if all the relays have already been installed.)
