Does Curt 4-Pole Wiring Harness # C55384 Have Locking Tabs on the Round U.S. Car Connectors

How hard is the connection on the exiting plug to come off. I tried but can,t find a release button

The round U.S. Car connectors used on the Curt harness # C55384 you referenced do have locking tabs to keep the joined parts secured. On this particular harness those locking tabs are grey and can be seen in the brief video I have created for you in which I demonstrate how to release them. These do need to be depressed in order for the connector halves to separate.
