Would the Tow Ready 7-Way # 118271 fit a 2010 GMC Acadia

Question:

I have a 2010 GMC Acadia with the socket found on the passenger side frame rail, to the right of the muffler as shown in Diagram C . Will this work on my 2010? The info says only on 2013-current.

What you can do is test the pins of the connector you found with a circuit tester like the part # PTW2993 and if they activate the tester with the different taillight circuits being applied the connector is active and the # 118271 would work.
