Availability of Adjustable 2-Inch Ball Mount with 2-Inch Hitch Ball
Question:
Do you have an adjustable ball mount for a 2inch hitch, 2inch ball that can be adjusted from about a 2inch to about a 4inch rise without removing the mount from the tow vehicle and flipping it over? I have a problem with my boat trailer dragging at the end of my driveway and a 4inch rise would clear, but I need a 2inch to tow. I can leave the driveway at a 4inch rise, stop just past my driveway and adjust down to a 2inch and go. I dont want to have to unhook the trailer from the ball and break the hitch down to flip it to get to the 2inch setting. Thanks.

We do offer a range of adjustable ball mounts that have a 2-inch hitch ball and fit a 2-inch hitch, such as Curt # C45900 and the others shown on the included link. This Curt mount adjusts from a 6-inch drop to a 5-1/4-inch rise in 1-inch increments. Please refer to the linked video.
In order to make your ball mount height adjustment as you exit and re-enter your driveway you will need to stop and secure the trailer and either decouple it, or if you are very handy with operating your tongue jack, take most of the pressure off the coupler/ball to allow you to adjust its height.
For safety reasons I suggest you decouple the trailer (and chock its wheels) before making the ball mount height adjustment.
