Will Curt Class III Trailer Hitch C13204 Fit a Nissan Rogue With a Decorative Splash Panel
Question:
There is a colored splash/decorative panel mounted low in the rear. Does the hitch interfere with this panel? Or does it mount below this? We have an SL model. I do not want to cut into this panel.

Some models of the Nissan Rogue have underbody panels that will need to be removed to install the Curt Class III Trailer Hitch, # C13204. The underbody panels will not be reinstalled. The panels must be removed to expose the attachment points for the hitch at the frame rails. These panels are not visible unless you are under the vehicle.
I have attached a link to the installation instructions and an installation video that shows our technician removing the underbody panels for you to check out.
If you are talking about the lower part of the rear bumper fascia (see photo), then no, that panel is not touched during the installation. The receiver portion of the hitch will sit just below the lowest part of the stock rear bumper fascia.
